The Kansas City Power & Light District is Kansas City's most dynamic neighborhood. It is located in the heart of Downtown. Its borders include Grand Boulevard on the east (until 13th Street) and Baltimore Street as the west border (until 13th Street). Truman Road forms the southern border of the Power & Light District neighborhood, while 13th Street marks the north border. Between Main and Walnut Streets, the District expands to 12th Street to include One Light Luxury Apartments, Cosentino's Market, Genesis Health Club and a variety of lifestyle amenities. However, the corner at 12th and Walnut Streets is not included within the boundaries of the Power & Light District neighborhood. The District spans eight and a half blocks of exciting restaurants, entertainment, nightlife, shopping and amenities, as well as office space and apartment living. It is easily accessible from all major highways and attracts millions of visitors each year. The District is about 20 minutes south of the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and less than 8 minutes south of the Downtown Airport.
Kansas City Live!, also known as KC Live!, is located directly across the street from T-Mobile Center, in the heart of The Kansas City Power & Light District. The Midwest’s premier dining and entertainment destination, KC Live! features world-class restaurants, taverns and night spots and is open year-round offering a variety of events including concerts, festivals, watch parties and more.
KC Live! destinations include: Johnny’s Tavern, Pizza Bar, County Road Ice House, Guy Fieri's Dive & Taco Joint, McFadden's Sports Saloon, Leinenkugel's KC, Mosaic Lounge, Living Room, Howl at the Moon, PBR Big Sky, and Shark Bar. KC Live! features a full-concert stage where the country’s most premiere musicians and bands perform weekly during the summer and for special events throughout the year.
The District and the City have multiple parking garages and surface lots within and surrounding the District. Parking is available all day, every day when you dine or shop in the District, in the KC Live! parking garage. Simply have your parking ticket validated before the end of your visit. Yes. There are multiple valet locations throughout the District. Even more conveniently, you can drop your vehicle off and pick it up at any of the locations.

The Kansas City Power & Light District is an active neighborhood 24 hours a day. Most bars and restaurants are open until 3am. Please refer to an individual tenant's website for their hours of operation.
Yes. KC Live! has several ramps for easy access from the street and the KC Live! parking garage (entrance at 13th St & Grand Blvd). If in the garage, take the elevator located in the southwest corner of the garage up to KC Live!. If entering from the street, take the access ramp located adjacent to Gordon Biersch Brewery on Walnut Street, just north of 14th St. Once inside of KC Live!, there are two ramps to access the four levels of the KC Live! plaza area. The entrance is located on the first tier and the first ramp is in front of Cleaver & Cork. The slow incline goes from the first tier of KC Live! to the second tier. Cross over the second tier to McFadden's to access the second ramp leading up to the third and fourth tiers of the KC Live! plaza is in front of McFadden's Sports Saloon. To access the second level of KC Live! and the clubs on the second level, there are three elevators: one at the Walnut entrance, one in the back (north end) of KC Live, and one at the Grand entrance (near No Other Pub), in case the other two elevators are not accessible. WHEELCHAIR SEATING: During concerts, KC Live! reserves wheelchair seating inside of the KC Beer Garden, located on the second tier in front of McFadden's Sports Saloon.
Yes - The Kansas City Power & Light District offers a gift card that can be used at all of the restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops and merchants in the Power & Light District. The only venues that do not accept the Power & Light District Gift Card are: Arvest Bank Theater at The Midland, Chipotle and Whopper Bar. Additionally, Onelife Fitness does not accept gift cards at this time. Gift cards may be purchased at The Garment District located at 1350 Main Street. Bulk orders may be purchased by calling (816) 842-1045.
Yes. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. We ask that all guests conduct themselves in accordance with our Guest Code of Conduct, which prohibits the following:
- Outside food or beverage. We have plenty for you to enjoy!
- Weapons/Guns or other items that present a risk of harm to person or property.
- Pets. Humans and service animals only.
- Illegal, disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior.
- Smoking and vaping indoors. Please use designated outdoor smoking areas.
- Oversized bags or purses larger than 16x12.” KC Live! reserves the right to inspect all items entering KC Live!
- Photography or video recordings for commercial use without prior approval by management.
- Solicitation or loitering.
Failure to comply with the Guest Code of Conduct, or other reasonable requests from management or security, may result in the loss of privilege to visit our venue.

Yes. KC Live! is an open-air live music venue, surrounded by restaurants and nightlife establishments. It is covered by a translucent canopy that lets light in but keeps the elements out! It is also equipped with large overhead fans and heaters, benches and seating, fire pits and more. Seating is limited, so arrive early for events to claim the best seats! Lawn chairs are not permitted in KC Live!. Extreme weather may result in the postponement or cancellation of an event. Please check the event calendar on this website for details, should such weather occur.
